Due to the weather, Wednesday night pool training has been cancelled. We will be training next week.

Club Formation
The Clubs formation date has been moved back to (at least) 25 February 1954, with a newspaper report from that date being located advising Club members have been selected to the Qld State Life Saving Team to compete in the RLSS Championships in Hobart. On 25 February 1954 The Courier Mail reported:

Courses for members have now been scheduled - please see the patrol roster for dates.

Junior Lifeguard Training
Training is back to normal from this Sunday (22/1/12)
Training will break over Christmas and New Year period, and will return to normal from Sunday 22 January 2012, hand out available here.

SCRC Grants
The Club is pleased to announce that it has received a grant (Community Development Grant) from the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, to allow it to purchase essential patrol equipment including a new outboard motor, base radio and rescue board. The Club wishes to acknowledge and that the Council for its ongoing support.
