Ithaca Caloundra City Life Saving Club maintains beach patrols during weekends of the summer months of the year on Bulcock Beach, Caloundra in Queensland and parts of Pumicestone Passage.

Bulcock Beach is situated at the northern end of Pumicestone Passage. The patrol area covers the bar separating the Passage from the mainland and the stillwater beach. This area can be dangerous because of the fast flowing tidal waters. The beach itself is a still water beach.

The Club patrols the beach for more than seventy days a year and completes more than 130 preventative actions. It also offers more than one hundred first aid assistanceinterventions to the general public in its first aid room, without payment.

The Club also trains its members and the public in Life Saving techniques and First Aid.

The Mission statement of Ithaca Caloundra City Life Saving Club:

To achieve the highest level in the delivery of Aquatic Safety, Rescue and Emergency care with the support of volunteer members within a family based environment.
