Most courses are conducted for members, however some public courses are held
As the Club is a volunteer organisation, courses are conducted when instructors are available and sufficient participant numbers are available. Please contact the Clubs Chief Instructor or Club Captain for more details.

Bronze Star Basic Life Saving Skills, aimed at 12 - 14 years age. Yes $50
Bronze Medallion The Bronze Medallion teaches an understanding of the life saving principles. The Bronze Medallion has been operating for over 100 years with many Australians undertaking the program since commencement. The Bronze Medallion is considered the main life saving award in the community. Yes $100
Bronze Cross The Bronze Cross is a more advanced life saving award No $100
Award of Merit One of the highest 'life saving skill' based awards No $100
Senior First Aid To develop an acceptable standard of knowledge & skill for the management of emergency situations where people require First Aid treatment. Yes $100
Patrol Lifeguard For Patrolling members, an advanced life saving award which certifies a person as being a competant Patrol Member, and a Patrol Captain. No $100
Grey Medallion Aimed at mature persons, no prior Life Saving experience necessary. Yes $30
Radio Operator Certificate Competancy in two way radio operations, for life saving use. No Free to patrolling members
IRB Crewman / Driver Certificates in competancy for Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Crew and Drivers No Free to patrolling members
